- January 25: Jobs, a biopic about Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, premieres at the Sundance Film Festival.
- January 28: Revision A of the 3rd-generation Apple TV is released with Apple TV Software 5.2.
February 2013[]
- February 5: A 128 GB version of the 4th-generation iPad is released.
March 2013[]
- March 7: Sonic Dash is released for iOS. Pages for iOS is updated to version 1.7.2.
- March 12: Version 12.3.6 is the last update of Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac to be released.
- March 14: Mac OS X 10.8.3 is released. Super Stickman Golf 2 is released for iOS.
- March 25: Intaglio SketchPad 2.1.1 and the game compilation Pro Snooker & Pool 2012 are released for iOS.
March 2013[]
- April 4: Badland is released for iOS.
- April 9: Microsoft ends support for Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac.
- April 25: Tickets to the 2013 Worldwide Developers Conference go on sale at 10:00 A.M. and sell out in 71 seconds.
May 2013[]
- May 30: An entry-level 16GB version of the 5th-generation iPod touch is released, which only came in black with plastic buttons, and lacked the rear iSight camera and the iPod touch Loop.
June 2013[]
- June 4: Mac OS X 10.8.4 (Mountain Lion) is released.
- June 10-14: The 2013 Worldwide Developers Conference is held at Moscone Center's West Hall, where OS X 10.9 "Mavericks", iOS 7, the 2nd-generation Mac Pro, CarPlay, and iTunes Radio are announced.
July 2013[]
- July 2: Douglas Engelbart, inventor of the first graphical user interface and computer mouse, passes away. Playdead's LIMBO is released for iOS through the Apple App Store.
- July 16: Logic Pro X is released.
- July 24: Riptide GP2 is released for iOS through the Apple App Store.
- July 26: iFile 1.1 is released for iOS.
August 2013[]
- August 6: Apple initiates a program in which customers can trade in a counterfeit adapter for a genuine Apple USB Power Adapter for a special price.
- August 16: Jobs, a biopic about Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, is theatrically released in the United States.
September 2013[]
- September 9: handyPrint v5.0 is released to support printers that pre-date AirPrint protocol on Mac OS X.
- September 10: The iPhone 5S and 5C are announced at a special event titled "This should brighten everyone's day." The iPhone 5, the 16 GB version of the iPhone 4S, and the 8 GB version of the iPhone 4 are discontinued.
- September 12: Mac OS X 10.8.5 (Mountain Lion) is released.
- September 18: iOS 7 is released and the iTunes Radio service is launched in the United States.
- September 19: iOS 7 is released internationally outside of the United States. Angry Birds Star Wars II is released for iOS.
- September 20: The iPhone 5S and 5C are released. Also released to the public is iOS 7.0.1 with support for Touch ID.
- September 26: iOS 7.0.2 is released.
October 2013[]
- October 10: The Apple Palisades retail store in New York is relocated nearby and opened as Apple Nanuet.
- October 17: Construction Simulator 2014 is released for iOS through the Apple App Store. Windows 8.1 is released by Microsoft for PCs.
- October 22: The 1st-generation iPad Air and iPad mini 2 are announced at a special event titled "We still have a lot to cover." OS X 10.9 (Mavericks), iLife '13, and iWork '13 are released. Apple Remote Desktop 3.7 is also released, with support for OS X Mavericks.
- October 23: iOS 7.0.3 is released.
- October 28: Pro Darts 2014 is released for iOS through the Apple App Store.
November 2013[]
- November 1: The 1st-generation iPad Air is released.
- November 12: The iPad mini 2 is released.
- November 13: The iOS version of My Talking Tom is released through the Apple App Store.
- November 14: iOS 7.0.4 is released.

- December 13: LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga is released for iOS through the Apple App Store.
