- January 21: Beats Music, the predecessor to the Apple Music streaming service, is launched.
- January 29: iOS 7.0.5 is released.
February 2014[]
- February 1: SheepShaver emulation software version 2.4 is released.
- February 6: Threes! is released for iOS.
- February 11: The iTunes Radio service is launched in Australia.
- February 15: The first Apple retail store in Brazil and Latin America is opened in Rio de Janeiro.
- February 21: iOS 6.1.6 is released as the final update to iOS 6. iOS 7.0.6 is also released.
- February 25: Mac OS X 10.9.2 (Mavericks) is released.
March 2014[]
- March 3: iOS in the Car is rebranded as CarPlay.
- March 10: CarPlay is released as part of the iOS 7.1 update.
- March 18: The iPad 2 is discontinued.
- March 30: An Apple Alumni Reunion is held for staff from the first 10 years of the company.

- April 3: Monument Valley is released for iOS.
- April 5: The first Apple retail store in Turkey (now called Türkiye) is opened in Istanbul.
- April 8: Microsoft ends support for Windows XP.
- April 12: Intaglio SketchPad 2.2 is released for iOS.
- April 22: iOS 7.1.1 is released. Intaglio SketchPad 2.2.1 is released for iOS.

- June 2-6: The 2014 Worldwide Developers Conference is held at Moscone Center West in San Francisco, where OS X 10.10 Yosemite, iOS 8, and Swift are announced.
- June 6: Apple acquires Simple Rules, the developer of the Spotsetter social search engine.
- June 9: After reaching a share price of $649, Apple stock (AAPL) is split 7-for-1.
- June 30: iOS 7.1.2 is released as the final update to iOS 7. OS X 10.9.4 (Mavericks) is also released.

- August 7: The Sago Mini World bundle of edutainment games is released for iOS through the Apple App Store.

- September 9: The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, Apple Pay, and Apple Watch are announced at a special event titled "Wish we could say more." The iPod classic, the 8 GB version of the iPhone 4S, the 32 GB version of the iPhone 5C, and the 64 GB version of the iPhone 5S are discontinued.
- September 17: iOS 8, and Apple TV Software 6.2.1 and 7.0 are released to the public.
- September 19: The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus are released.
- September 28: Former Apple II development engineer Bob Bishop passes away.

- October 16: The iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3, and iMac with 5K Retina Display are announced at a special event titled "It's been way too long." OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) is released to the public.
