January 2015[]
- January 7: RPN Calculator 1.1 is released for iOS 8 or later.
- January 22: RPN Calculator 1.1.1 is released for iOS 8 or later.
- January 27: OS X 10.10.2 (Yosemite) and Apple Remote Desktop 3.8 are released. Intaglio SketchPad 2.3.2 is released for iOS.
February 2015[]
- February 1: The Apple App Store requires all new apps to have 64-bit support through the iOS 8 SDK.
- February 14: The Apple Oakridge retail store is moved to a larger space in the Westfield Oakridge mall in San Jose.
- February 19: Alto's Adventure is released for iOS.
- February 20: Apple initiates a repair program for MacBook Pros with defective Radeon HD 6000M series GPUs.
March 2015[]
- March 9: Apple CEO Tim Cook hosts a "Spring Forward" event in which the first Apple Watch, iOS 8.2, and MacBook with Retina display are introduced.
- March 18: AAPL stock becomes a component of the Dow Jones Industrial Average, displacing longtime member AT&T.
- March 19: iPhoto 9.6.1, the last update, is released.
April 2015[]
- April 2: Microsoft Lens is released for iOS.
- April 8: OS X 10.10.3 (Yosemite) is released.
- April 10: The MacBook with Retina display is released.
- April 20: Lifeline is released for iOS.
- April 24: The first Apple Watch, running watchOS 1, becomes available in 9 countries.
- April 29: Jurassic World: The Game is released for iOS.
May 2015[]
- May 2: iFile 2.1 is released for iOS.
- May 8: Intaglio SketchPad 2.4 is released for iOS, adding Dropbox support.
June 2015[]
- June 1: The Apple App Store requires all iOS app updates to have 64-bit support.
- June 8-12: The 2015 Worldwide Developers Conference is held at Moscone Center West in San Francisco, California. New announcements included iOS 9, OS X El Capitan, watchOS 2, and the Apple Music service.
- June 19: The 1st-generation iPad mini is discontinued.
- June 30: The Apple Music service is launched with the release of iOS 8.4. OS X 10.10.4 (Yosemite) is also released.
July 2015[]
- July 8: The official Star Wars app for iOS is released through the Apple App Store.
- July 14: The 6th-generation iPod touch is announced, and the 5th-generation iPod touch is discontinued.
- July 15: The 6th-generation iPod touch is released, while the 4th-generation iPod touch and 7th-generation iPod nano are each refreshed in a choice of 6 colors.
- July 29: Windows 10 is released by Microsoft.
August 2015[]
- August 13: iOS 8.4.1 and OS X 10.10.5 (Yosemite) are publicly released.
- August 18: The iPhone Lightning Dock is released.
- August 20: Horizon Chase is released for iOS through the Apple App Store.
September 2015[]
- September 9: The 4th-generation Apple TV, iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, iPad Pro, and Apple Pencil are announced at a special event titled "Hey Siri, give us a hint." The iPad mini 4 is released. The iPad mini 3, and the 8 and 16 GB versions of the iPhone 5C and are discontinued, along with the gold color option of the iPhone 5S, 6 and 6 Plus. Apple also discontinues service and support for the 1st-generation Apple TV.
- September 16: iOS 9 is released to the public, along with the Apple News app.
- September 19: The first Apple retail store in Belgium is opened in Brussels. The Apple Company Store at the 1 Infinite Loop campus is re-opened as the Apple Infinite Loop retail store.
- September 21: watchOS 2 is released to the public.
- September 22: Microsoft Office 2016 for Mac is released. Lifeline 2 is released for iOS and watchOS.
- September 23: iOS 9.0.1 is released.
- September 25: The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus are released.
- September 28: 13 million iPhone 6S and 6S Plus models are sold, setting a new first-weekend sales record.
- September 30: iOS 9.0.2 and OS X 10.11 (El Capitan) are released.
October 2015[]
- October 1: James A. Bell is elected to the Apple Board of Directors.
- October 7: The Beats Pill+ is announced, and the original Beats Pill is discontinued.
- October 9: Apple announces the 1st-generation iPad Pro with 12.9-inch display and support for the new Apple Pencil. Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom is released for iOS through the Apple App Store.
- October 13: Apple releases the Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse 2, and Magic Trackpad 2.
- October 21: iOS 9.1, OS X 10.11.1 (El Capitan) and watchOS 2.0.1 are released.
- October 26: Beats Electronics releases the Beats Pill+ portable Bluetooth speaker.
- October 28: Octodad: Dadliest Catch is released for iOS through the Apple App Store.
- October 29: The first two Apple retail stores in the Middle East are opened at Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. The Beats Pill+ app is released for iOS and Android. tvOS 9 is released to support the upcoming 4th-generation Apple TV.
- October 30: The 4th-generation Apple TV is released.
November 2015[]
- November 10: A port of the Apple Music app is released for Android.
- November 11: The 12.9-inch 1st-generation iPad Pro is released along with the Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard.
- November 20: The Apple Watch Magnetic Charging Dock is released.
- November 30: Beats Music is discontinued, having been superseded by Apple Music.
December 2015[]
- December 8: iOS 9.2, OS X 10.11.2 (El Capitan), tvOS 9.1, and watchOS 2.1 are released.
- December 17: Jeff Williams is promoted to Chief Operating Officer of Apple Inc. GT Spirit debuts as a game exclusively for Apple TV.
