Alex Gorsky (born May 24, 1960) is the executive chairman of Johnson & Johnson who was elected to the Apple Board of Directors on November 9, 2021.[1]
Education[]
Gorsky received a B.S. from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York in 1982. He reached the rank of captain during his 6 years in the U.S. Army. Gorsky received his M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1996.[1][2]
Career[]
Gorsky joined Johnson & Johnson in 1988 and rose to become the CEO of the company in 2012.[1][2] He is scheduled to transition that role over to Joaquin Duato on January 3, 2022.[3]
