Altec Lansing is a American multimedia-electronics manufacturer, with global market presence in Asia, Europe, and Latin America.


The company was established on May 1, 1941 through the acquisition of Lansing Manufacturing Company, founded by James Bullough Lansing, by All Technical Products Company.[1] Products in their heritage include loudspeakers, amplifiers, sonar equipment, theatre speakers, microphones, and more recently, iPod and iPhone accessories.
