ANSI Celebrates 100 Years of Standardization

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) is a private 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is responsible for administering voluntary U.S. standards and technical regulations in many areas, including computers and communications.[1]


Founded in 1918, ANSI is a member of the International Organization for Standardization. ANSI promotes the use of American National Standards (ANS) and international standards (ISO).[2][3]
