Aperture from Apple Computer is an all-in-one post production tool, which is akin to Final Cut Pro for digital still videos.

Aperture's fast RAW workflow makes working with a camera's RAW files as easy as JPEG files.

At its introduction on October 19, 2005, Rob Schoeben, Apple's vice president of Applications Marketing, stated that "Aperture is to professional photography what Final Cut Pro is to filmmaking."
