Apple Champs-Élysées is a flagship Apple retail store in France, which opened in 2018 on the famed Champs-Élysées in Paris.[1]
History[]
The location was opened on November 18, 2018 with over 330 employees as Apple's 506th retail store and is internally identified as R675. The staff at the time represented over 15 nationalities and could collectively speak at least 17 languages.[2][3] However, among existing stores still open as of 2022, it has since moved up to become the 499th oldest as 7 other preceding stores had closed over the years.[4]
Incidents[]
After looters broke into another Apple Store during the Yellow vest protests across France in December 2018, the store on the Champs-Élysées was boarded up and fortified for protection from the ensuing riots.[5][6]
