The Apple Composite AV Cable was an accessory from Apple that allowed iPod and iPhones with 30-pin dock connectors to display composite video and play audio through a television set. Early packages included a USB power adapter.

History[]

The Composite AV Cable replaced the iPod AV Cable, which previously connected through the headphone jack of the iPod photo. The newer cable also added a USB connection for charging the device while plugged in.[1]
