Apple MarketStreet is an Apple Store located in Lynnfield, Massachusetts, USA. It originally opened for business in 2001 as Apple Northshore, the company's sixth retail store which was internally identified as R011.[1] However, the successor store retained this identifier number and moved up to become the fifth oldest still in operation with the closure of Apple Willow Bend in April 2019.[2]

This Apple Store is presently situated within the MarketStreet shopping plaza in Lynnfield. It is normally open from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. every day except Sundays, when it is open from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

History[]

The original storefront was designed by architect Art Gensler in direct collaboration with Apple co-founder Steve Jobs.[3] It was first opened on September 1, 2001 within Northshore Mall in Peabody, Massachusetts. In December 2016, Apple announced that the store would be relocating nearby to the MarketStreet shopping plaza in Lynnfield and would be open on January 28, 2017.[4]
