Apple Music Live, also stylized as Music LIVE, is a series of live scheduled events that are sponsored by Apple and streamed exclusively through its Apple Music online subscription service.
History[]
After discontinuing the Apple Music Festival with its final event in 2016, Apple began investigating the livestreaming of individually-sponsored live events.[1] Apple streamed early "Apple Music Live" events with artist Marco Mengoni next to its Apple retail store in Milan. Italy on March 28, 2019,[2] followed by pianist Ludovico Einaudi at the Steve Jobs Theater on June 12, 2019.[3] However, subsequent events that had been planned in London were placed on hiatus, presumably due the COVID-19 pandemic.[4]
Concerts[]
Apple Music Live began resuming the livestreaming of concerts in 2022, starting with artist Harry Styles. The programming includes live interviews with the artists, and are available to stream after the event.[4]
