The Apple Shinsaibashi (Japanese: Apple 心斎橋), also known as the Apple Store Osaka, is an Apple Store situated in Osaka, Japan.

Location[]

The Apple Store is situated at 1-5-5 Nishi-shinsaibashi, Chuo-ku (大阪府大阪市中央区西心斎橋1-5-5 代田生命御堂筋ビル), in Osaka, Japan. It is normally open from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily. However, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the hours were changed to 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

History[]

This store location was opened on August 28, 2004 as Apple's 82nd retail store and is internally identified as R091. It has since moved up to become the 81st Apple retail store still in operation, as another preceding store had closed over the years.[1][2]

Incidents[]

On March 14, 2020, the store was closed due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.[3] It was reopened on June 3, 2020, but with limited service in observance of health precautions.[4]
