Apple South Shore is an Apple Store located in Braintree, Massachusetts, USA. It originally opened for business in 2005 as Apple's 117th retail store and is internally identified as R110.[1] However, the store moved up to become the 116th store still in operation with the closure of Apple Willow Bend in April 2019.

This Apple Store is presently situated within the South Shore Plaza mall in Braintree. It is normally open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday to Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.
History[]
The store opened on August 6th, 2005, as the fourth Apple Store in Massachusetts. It is located on the lower level in the Macy's wing, adjacent to Sears, and is the 117th retail store that was ever opened. On April 12th, 2019, it was moved up to become the 116th store still in operation with the closure of Apple Willow Bend.
Relocation[]
Over the weekend in the beginning of November 2023, the message on the Apple South Shore page said in part, "We're making moves. Come with us." which means that the store is relocating. The original storefront closed on November 16 and relocated with a newer style on November 18, 2023, just like the previous stores reopened/opened.[2] The newly relocated store is now in the same level next to Vans, across from LEGO Store and J. Jill in the Nordstrom wing.[3] The reopening of the new Apple Store in South Shore Plaza happened just three days before the 1st anniversary of the Apple Derby Street SUV crash in Hingham, Massachusetts.
