Macworld San Francisco 2009 Keynote Address

The 2009 Macworld Conference & Expo was held January 5 to 9, 2009 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California. As Apple CEO Steve Jobs was on medical leave, senior VP Phil Schiller presented the keynote address on the opening day to introduce iLife '09 and the 17-inch unibody MacBook Pro. This was Apple's last appearance at the Macworld Expo.[1]

Apple WWDC 2009 Keynote Address

The 2009 Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC 2009) was held June 8 to 12, 2009 at Moscone West in San Francisco. During the keynote event on the opening day, new hardware announcements included the iPhone 3GS and 13-inch unibody MacBook Pro. New software announcements included Mac OS X Snow Leopard and iPhone OS 3.[2][3]

On September 9, 2009, Apple hosted an event in which CEO Steve Jobs received a standing ovation after returning from medical leave. New product announcements included iTunes 9, the 5th-generation iPod nano, 3rd-generation iPod touch, and a thinner 160 GB 6th-generation iPod classic.[4]
