January 2010[]
On January 27, 2010, Apple hosted a media event at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, where CEO Steve Jobs introduced the iPad, the company's first tablet device.[1]
April 2010[]
On April 8, 2010, Apple hosted an event to present new features in iPhone OS 4 (before it was renamed to iOS 4). Apple senior VP Scott Forstall introduced Game Center, and Steve Jobs introduced the iAd mobile advertising platform.[2]
June 2010[]

The 2010 Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC 2010) was held June 7 to 11, 2010 at Moscone West in San Francisco. During the keynote event on the opening day, the iPhone 4 was introduced along with iOS 4, which had been renamed from iPhone OS 4. FaceTime and iMovie for iOS were also introduced.[3]
September 2010[]
On September 1, 2010, Apple hosted at event at which Steve Jobs introduced the 6th generation iPod nano, the 4th generation iPod shuffle, the 4th generation iPod touch and the 2nd generation Apple TV. Other introductions included iTunes 10 with Ping social networking, and iOS 4.1 along with a preview of iOS 4.2, which contained new features dedicated to iPads.
October 2010[]
On October 20, 2010, Apple gave a sneak peek of Mac OS X Lion and introduced new MacBook Air models in an event titled "Back to the Mac."[4]
