{{Product The Apple Watch Series 7 is the 7th generation smartwatches of the Apple Watch lineup that was announced by Apple in a special event on September 14, 2021, succeeding the Apple Watch Series 6.[1] Series 7 became available for preorder on October 8 and was released on October 15, 2021.[2]

The Series 7 watches feature a slightly enlarged exterior design with improved durability and thinner display borders, resulting in a larger screen area.[3] They also feature an updated charging architecture and include an Apple Watch Magnetic Fast Charger to USB-C Cable for 33% faster charging than previous models.[4] The new watches run watchOS 8, which was introduced at the 2021 Worldwide Developers Conference.[5]
