Beats app Android icon

The Beats app is developed by Apple for Android users to support features of their wireless Beats devices. There is no equivalent from the Apple App Store for iPhone users as such functionality is built into recent versions of iOS by default.

History[]

Firmware management of Beats devices was previously supported by Beats Updater for macOS.[1]

The Android app was first released in 2015. It supports pairing, firmware updates, checking of battery levels, and modifying device settings. Android Marshmallow (6.x), 7.0, or later was previously required. Android Oreo (8.0) or later is recommended to use the most recent version of the app,[2] which on April 16, 2022 added new widgets and "Locate My Beats" functionality (similar to Find My in iOS).[3]
