Beige may refer to one of the following:
IMac Goldblum Beige Ad (widescreen)
- Apple Beige, the "putty"-like color used on early models of the Apple II series and the first compact Macs.[1]
- A collective nickname for Macintosh II through early Power Macintosh models, which were designed with a slightly warm "Platinum" exterior color as part of the long-used "Snow White" design language.
- The original Power Macintosh G3 line, which include the last models to use the Platinum exterior color, is referred to as "beige" to distinguish it from the later blue & white Power Mac G3.
- Other PC manufacturers, such as Dell, that Steve Jobs ridiculed for producing "un-innovative beige boxes".[2]
