The Beijing Macintosh User Group is a Macintosh user group based in Beijing, China. Its current President is David Feng.

History[]

The user group was created on March 2, 2002, during a meeting which involved seven members from Switzerland, China, Japan, Germany, Australia, Canada and the USA.

On September 9, 2002, the first Executives Board was elected.

On September 20, 2002, the Central Executives Commission of the Beijing Macintosh User Group was created.

On April 3, 2004, the Beijing Macintosh User Group was temporarily regrouped as the Beijing Macintosh Union. On October 15, 2004, after a disappointing failure with the union, the group reverted to the User Group model.

On March 5, 2005, the group held a big meeting, celebrating its 3rd anniversary. Attendance reached a new peak on May 21, 2005, with 31 attending.
