CopyGear, also known as Anapod CopyGear, later Anapop CopyGear, was an iPod file transfer utility developed for Mac OS X and Windows by Red Chair Software.

CopyGear can automatically detect and connect to early (non-iOS) iPod models to browse and backup audio files (music and podcasts). The user interface resembles the Finder for intuitive use. Filenames and folder structure of content can be customized for transfer back to Mac or PC.

The Windows version was available as a standalone trialware app or bundled with Anapod Explorer. It supported Windows 98SE, ME, 2000, XP, and Vista. The last known release for Windows was version 3.0.5 before the company's website eventually went offline.[1]

Version 1.0.5, the first release for Mac in 2006, required Mac OS X 10.2 or later. It supported both PowerPC and Intel processors.[2] The last known release for Mac was version 1.0.6.
