Cyberdog was the first web browser developed internally at Apple Computer. Based on OpenDoc, it also included a suite of features such as an address book, email, FTP, and a newsgroup browser.

Cyberdog was first announced in May at the 1995 Worldwide Developers Conference and positioned as OpenDoc's "killer app".[1] Version 1.0 was released the following year on May 13 at the 1996 Worldwide Developers Conference.[2]

With the discontinuation of OpenDoc and massive layoffs in March 1997 that included much of the Cyberdog team, version 2.0 was the final major release.[3]
