Daniel Cooperman was the Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Apple Inc. from 2007 to 2009.


Cooperman graduated summa cum laude in economics from Dartmouth College in 1972. He received an MBA and JD from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business and School of Law in 1976.[1]


Cooperman joined Oracle Corporation in 1997 and rose to become its general counsel and secretary.[1]

Apple Inc.[]

Cooperman joined Apple on November 1, 2007 to become its new general counsel and secretary, succeeding Donald Rosenberg who had left for Qualcomm in September 2007.[2][3] Cooperman himself retired at the end of September 2009 and was succeeded as general counsel by Bruce Sewell.[4]
