Final Fantasy, stylized as FINAL FANTASY, is a role-playing video game that was developed and published by Square Enix for iOS and iPadOS, as well as Android and Windows. It is the first game in the Final Fantasy game series.

Releases[]

Final Fantasy was first released for the Nintendo Famicom in Japan on December 18, 1987.[1] A "20th Anniversary" edition was released for the PlayStation Portable in Japan on April 19, 2007. That edition was ported and released for iPhone OS on February 25, 2010.[2] A more comprehensive "Pixel Remaster" was released for iOS, Android, and Windows on July 28, 2021.[3][4]

Apple Arcade version[]

A variant for Apple Arcade based on the Pixel Remaster was announced on November 13, 2024 and was scheduled to be released on January 9, 2025 under the title FINAL FANTASY+.[5][6] However, it was released a day later on January 10th.[7]
