Final Fantasy IV: The After Years, sometimes shortened to FF IV: THE AFTER YEARS, is a role-playing video game that was developed by Matrix Software and published by Square Enix for iOS and iPadOS, as well as Android and Windows. It is a direct sequel to Final Fantasy IV, the fourth main game in the Final Fantasy game series.

Releases[]

Final Fantasy IV: The After Years was first released for Docomo's i-mode phones in Japan on February 18, 2008.[1] Versions for iOS and Android were released on November 25, 2013, using the game engine from the 3D Remake of Final Fantasy IV. A Windows port was released through Steam on May 11, 2015.[2][3]

Apple Arcade version[]

A variant for Apple Arcade was announced on November 13, 2024 and was released on the following December 9th under the title FF IV: THE AFTER YEARS+.[4][5]
