The Genius Bar is a station located at the back of Apple retail stores in which specially trained employees provide concierge-style warranty and technical support for products produced by Apple Inc.
Ron Johnson, the former Senior VP of Retail who developed the concept, referred to the Genius Bar as the "heart and soul of our stores".[1] Microsoft has since adopted a similar concept in their own retail stores called the Answer Desk.[2] However, the response among PC customers has been mixed.[3]
