Human Interface Guidelines are defined by Apple to help developers design products that interface with users intuitively.
History[]
Designer and engineer Bruce Tognazzini began drafting the first Human Interface Guidelines for Apple Computer in September 1978 and it reached the Macintosh group in 1982.[1] Apple Fellow Don Norman was the company's user experience architect from 1993 to 1996.[2]
