The iH8 was an audio peripheral released by iHome in 2007 for iPods with 30-pin dock connectors.

Description[]

The iH8 and its sibling, the iH6, were both derived from the iHome iH7, which was released during the previous year. The primary difference is that the satellite speaker of the iH7 is not included. The iH6 does not include an additional port for this speaker as an optional add-on, while the iH8 does.[1]

The iH8 includes a full-function remote control that interfaces with both the iPod and the built-in clock radio. However, it no longer supports the 1st-generation iPod shuffle.[1]
