iLife '11 is a version of the iLife suite that was introduced at an Apple Special Event on October 20, 2010. A downloadable version for Mac with fewer components was released during the launch of the Mac App Store on January 6, 2011.
Pricing and availability[]
The CD retail version was priced $49 for a single user or $79 for a family pack. Individual apps were available for $15 through the Mac App Store. A Mac Box Set combined with iWork was also made available for $129.[1]
The components of iLife '11 (Retail CD) are:
- iPhoto 9.4.3
- iMovie 9.0.9
- iDVD 7.1.2
- GarageBand 6.0.5
- iWeb 3.0.4
The components of iLife '11 (Mac App Store version) are:
- iPhoto 9.4.3
- iMovie 9.0.0
- GarageBand 6.0.5
iDVD and iWeb were officially discontinued when the Mac App Store version was released.
