The iPad is a "tablet" that was released on the 3rd of April 2010.
Functions
The iPad has Safari, in a better way than the iPhone and iPod Touch, having a bigger screen.
Just like its predecessors, it has the Mail application.
A new way to look at your photos is the iPad. Put your thumb and index on the album, pull the apart, and the album opens.
With a higher resolution, you can see videos and explore YouTube.
The iPod function is kept, as well as theiTunes store and the App Store.
iBooks is the eBook application on the iPad, on which you download your books and read them on your iPad.
You also have Maps, an application similar to Google Earth.
Notes is an application where, obviously, you take notes.
On Calendar, also an application that didn't originate from the iPad, you keep your agenda.
Your address book is on Contacts.
