The iPhone 15 Pro is a high-end model of the iPhone 15 line developed by Apple Inc. It was announced in a special event titled "Wonderlust" on September 12, 2023. Pre-orders began on September 15 and became available in stores on September 22, 2023.[1]
New features[]
The iPhone 15 Pro features the new Apple A17 Pro chip. It also features a larger new 5x telephoto camera on the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The Lightning port has been replaced by USB-C to comply with the European Union regulations. Like other iPhone 15 models, it adds Emergency SOS via satellite for areas where ground-based wireless services may not be available. 2 years of emergency satellite service are included free with the purchase of new IPhone 15 models. The iPhone 15 Pro features a new titanium design, replacing the stainless steel used on the IPhone 14 Pro, the new action button can be customized to any feature with ring/silent being set as default, and also features spatial video recording.[2]
The iPhone 15 Pro comes in four new finishes: Black Titanium, White Titanium, Blue Titanium, and Natural Titanium.[2]
