The iPhone 5S was the seventh-generation flagship iPhone that was designed by Apple and released on September 20, 2013 (along with the iPhone 5C). It was discontinued on March 21, 2016 when the iPhone SE (1st generation) was released with a similar form factor.
Description[]
The iPhone 5S shares a similar form factor to the previous generation iPhone 5 while supporting major hardware changes. This is the first iPhone to introduce Touch ID, and a TrueTone Flash. iPhone 5s was released with iOS 7 that has a new redesigned UI. It's processor is the Apple A7 chip, the first 64-bit CPU used on a smartphone. This iPhone had been receiving security updates until iOS 12.5.7, which was the last major supported release it got.
It has an 8MP main camera with 1080p resolution and a 1.2MP selfie camera. The TrueTone flash feature is to enhance the photograph appearance for a more natural appearance. TrueTone flash includes a white LED with an amber coloured LED. This feature is still used on the latest flagships models.
