The iPhone Micro USB Adapter was released by Apple in October 2011 to allow devices with a 30-pin dock connector to support USB Micro-B connectors.

Releases

The adapter was sold individually and included with iPhones sold in Europe to comply with EU regulations that require mobile phones sold in Europe to support Micro USB connections.[1]
