1996 - The AppleVision 1710 Display is released.
2001 - The Titanium PowerBook G4 is introduced at the 2001 Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco. iTunes is also released as part of Apple's "Digital Hub" strategy. The update to Mac OS 9.1 is released.
2002 - Bud Tribble returns to Apple as Vice President of Software Technology.
2007 - Apple co-founder Steve Jobs announces the first iPhone at Macworld Expo in San Francisco. Apple starts taking pre-orders of the 1st-generation Apple TV. Safari 3 is released. Apple Computer, Inc. officially changes its name to Apple Inc. because the company has diversified from computers to consumer electronics. Support for Microsoft Office v.
