- 1938 - Future Apple Fellow and laser printer inventor Gary Starkweather is born.
- 1996 - The AppleVision 1710 Display is released.
- 2001 - The Titanium PowerBook G4 is introduced at the 2001 Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco. iTunes is also released as part of Apple's "Digital Hub" strategy. The update to Mac OS 9.1 is released.
- 2002 - Bud Tribble returns to Apple as Vice President of Software Technology.
