The Lightning to USB Camera Adapter is an adapter dongle designed and marketed by Apple to connect iPads, iPhones, and iPods with Lightning ports to USB devices.

This adapter supports up to USB 2.0 transfer rates but does not have an extra port to provide power while connected to a USB device. Without a powered USB hub, devices that draw too much power will cause an error message to be displayed. Though still available for older iOS devices, it has been superseded by the Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter which supports up to USB 3.0 transfer rates.
