The City of Los Angeles, also known as L.A., is a major city in Southern California, known for being the center of the Hollywood entertainment industry.

With an estimated population of 3,990,456 as of 2018, Los Angeles is the most populous city in the state of California and the 2nd most populous city in the United States.[1] As of 2021, there are 4 Apple retail stores within the Los Angeles city limits.[2]

With an estimated population of 10,105,518 as of 2018, the County of Los Angeles is the most populous county in the United States.[1] As of 2021, there are 14 Apple retail stores within Los Angeles County.[2]

Apple in Los Angeles[]

The 1987 AppleWorld Conference, held March 2-4 at the Universal Amphitheatre, was one of the few Apple events to occur outside of Northern California, where Apple's headquarters are located.[3][4]

Apple is presently constructing a new office in the Los Angeles County suburb of Culver City to support content development for Apple TV+.[5]
