Mac.com is a web mail and hosting service that was operated by Apple Computer.
History[]
Mac.com was launched as part of iTools on January 5, 2000 and was continued as part of .Mac, which was introduced on July 17, 2002. The Mac.com domain was also used for files and content that were stored online by HomePage and iDisk users.[1][2] It was superseded by Me.com with the introduction of MobileMe on July 9, 2008.[3]
