macOS 14.2 (build 23C64) is an update to macOS 14 (Sonoma) that was released on December 11, 2023 by Apple Inc.
Development history[]
The first developer beta (build 23C5030f) was released on October 26, 2023, followed by a second beta (build 23C5041e) on November 9th.[1][2] The third beta (build 23C5047e) was released on November 14th, followed by a fourth (build 23C5055b) on November 28th.[3][4]
A release candidate (build 23C63) was seeded on December 5, 2023.[5] A second candidate (build 23C64), which became the release build, was seeded on December 7th.[6][7]
Features[]
This build adds an enhanced autofill function for PDF files, and new features for the Messages and Weather applications. It also included bug fixes and security updates to address various vulnerabilities.[8]
