macOS 15.2 (build 24C101) is an update to macOS 15 (Sequoia) that was released to the public on December 11, 2024 by Apple Inc.[1]
Development history[]
The first developer beta (build 24C5057p) was released on October 23, 2024, followed by a second beta (build 24C5073e) on November 4th.[2][3] The third beta (build 24C5079e) was released on November 11th, followed by a fourth (build 24C5089c) on November 20th.[4][5]
A release candidate (RC) was seeded on December 5, 2024.[6] A second candidate (build 24C100) was seeded on the following December 9th.[7]
Features[]
This build introduces ChatGPT integration for Siri and writing tools. The new Image Playground allows users to create original images. However, Genmoji, the ability to create custom Memojis using artificial intelligence, is not yet available as of the first beta.[8]
