macOS 15.3 is an update to macOS 15 (Sequoia) that was released to the public on January 27, 2025 by Apple Inc.[1]
Development history[]
The first developer beta (build 24D5034) was released on December 16, 2024.[2] The second beta (build 24D5040f) was released on January 7, 2025, followed by a third (build 24D5055b) on January 16th.[3][4]
A release candidate (RC) was seeded on January 21, 2025.[5]
Features[]
This build introduces Genmoji to macOS, the ability to create custom Memojis using artificial intelligence that was previously only available on iOS 18.2 and iPadOS 18.2.[6][7]
