macOS 15.4 (build 24E248) is an update to macOS 15 (Sequoia) that was released to the public on March 31, 2025 by Apple Inc.[1]
Development history[]
The first developer beta (build 24E5206s) was released on February 21, 2025, followed by a second beta (build 24E5222f) on March 3rd.[2][3] The third beta (build 24E5228e) was released on March 10th, followed by a fourth (build 24E5238a) on March 17th.[4][5]
A release candidate (RC build 24E246) was seeded on March 24, 2025, followed by a second RC (build 24E247) on March 27th.[6][7]
Features[]
This build introduces a redesigned Mail app (first released in iOS 18) to macOS. Apple Intelligence was also rolled out in more languages.[8]
Issues[]
Users experiencing installation problems with this update can skip to macOS 15.4.1, which was released on the following April 16th.[9]
