macOS Sequoia

macOS Sequoia (version 15) is the twenty-first major release of macOS, developed by Apple Inc. macOS Sequoia was announced by senior VP of software engineering Craig Federighi on June 10th at the 2024 Worldwide Developers Conference. It is named after the national park in the Sierra Nevada mountain range.[1]

(the only change from the preceding macOS Sonoma (14) is that the 2018-2019 MacBook Airs are no longer supported, due to insufficient specifications)[2]
