Unreleased features[]
Apple CEO Steve Jobs had touted the coming of AirPrint support to Mac OS X and the feature had been seeded during beta testing. However, it was not among features that were ready in the shipping version of Mac OS X 10.6.5 and would not be ready until Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion).[1][2] However, some resourceful users managed to re-enable the feature in the shipping version of 10.6.5 by adding some files from the beta version that had been withheld from the public release.[3]
