A Macintosh LC 520

The Macintosh LC 500 series was a line of all-in-one computers from Apple Computer that succeeded the Macintosh Color Classic. It was released from June 1993 to August 1995 as part of the LC series for the educational market. Versions for the consumer market were sold under the Performa brand.[1] It was succeeded by the larger form factor of the Power Macintosh 5200 LC.

Common features[]

All models featured a built-in 14-inch color display and a bay for a CD-ROM drive. The RAM could be upgraded with two 72-pin SIMMs from a base of 4 MB on the logic board.[2]
