The MagSafe Duo Charger was a portable accessory from Apple that can charge mobile devices that support the Qi standard, including wireless MagSafe devices and Apple Watches. It was announced along with the iPhone 12 in a special event on October 13, 2020.[1] It became available for sale on December 1, 2020[2] until it was discontinued in September 12, 2023 around the time the iPhone 15, which charges via USB-C rather than Lightning, was released.[3]

Issues[]

The iPhone 13 Pro was found not to fit perfectly flush on the MagSafe Duo, due to the placement of the enlarged camera bulge on the back of the phone. However, it could still charge wirelessly and the proportions of the other iPhone 13 models are not affected by this.[4]
