The Magic Trackpad 2 is a multi-touch and Force Touch wireless trackpad produced by Apple Inc. Announced on October 13, 2015 alongside the Magic Keyboard and the Magic Mouse 2, the Magic Trackpad 2 is the successor to the first Magic Trackpad.

Description

The Magic Trackpad 2 is similar to its predecessor, with the key differences being a larger form factor,[1][2] rechargeable lithium-ion battery[3] and Force Touch. The trackpad also provides haptic feedback via Apple's built-in Taptic Engine that is also used in MacBook trackpads.[4] The Lightning connector is used for charging and pairing.[5]
