Mark Gitschel has self-identified as an early employee of Apple Computer.
Background[]
Gitschel stated that he had been hired as Apple employee #2632 on August 10, 1981. He worked for Rob Couch at the company's Macintosh factory in Fremont, California. Gitschel was laid off on March 30, 1992 as production was shifted overseas. He has since retired to Colorado.[1]
