Motorola MC68451L10 memory management unit

A dual in-line package (DIP) version of the 68451.

The Motorola 68451 is a memory management unit (MMU) that was produced by Motorola's Semiconductor Products Sector for use with the Motorola 68010 processor.

It was succeeded by the Motorola 68851 paged memory management unit (PMMU), which was designed specifically for the 68020 processor. The 68451 MMU was never used in any Macintosh model because Apple Computer skipped the 68010 and adopted the 68020 in the first Macintosh II computer.[1]
