The "Pippin Classic" was presented as a downsized version of the Pippin @WORLD console, running Apple Computer's Pippin platform.[2] It was purported to be bundled "with 3 of the hottest Pippin titles".[1]

Real-life background[]

In real life, the Retroquest Super Retro Castle is a knockoff console that was released in China with the scaled-down exterior form factor of a Pippin console. However, it is actually running RetroArch and emulating various 16-bit era games on Linux. With some hacking, it is possible to root the device to customize it.[3]
