The Titanium PowerBook G4 and 2nd-generation iBook G3 (white) were introduced in 2001 as the first Apple products to come with power adapters that used removable "duckheads" to attach different types of power connectors.[2] In January 2006, these older power adapters were superseded by the Apple MagSafe Power Adapters with magnetic connectors, though the power brick itself retained the "duckhead" design.[3]
