The SSD Kit for Mac Pro is a set of solid state drives that were introduced by Apple in 2020 to plug into a 3rd generation Mac Pro for additional storage.
Due to the presence of the Apple T2 security chip, a second Mac running Apple Configurator 2 may be required to be linked through a USB-C cable to reinstall system software. Prices for the kits range from $600 for 1TB to $2800 for 8TB.
